Indian Culture

the Indian-American community is one of the fastest-growing ehtnic minorities in the Northeast. Mirroring this growth, on college campuses all over the area, are Indian Student Association, which seek to promote Indian culture. One of the largest and most active of these groups can be found on the UConn campus. John Krinjak has more on why UConn's ISA is such a draw, and also why some other students--students of Indian background--are opposed to these organizations.
